Battle of the Bands Voter Signup

The voters for the Battle of the Bands are the people who make or break the bands. As a voter, you will contribute to the overall popularity of your favorite band. If your favorite band is not yet signed up to enter the Battle of the Band Podcast Competition, tell them to go to http://www.hotwebideas.com/lipc/bands3.asp

Just a note about how bands will compete...We will podcast about 3 to 5 bands every Sunday from April 27 to November 2, 2008. After each podcast, bands played on that podcast will be able to acquire two weeks of votes. After that two week period voting for those bands will close until the period when voting opens back up for all bands on November 2, 2008. After November 2, 2008, the top 5 bands with the greatest amount of votes will be judged by our panel of judges and your band will will win the promotion package from our sponsors.

We need to prevent cheating as best as possible. We know guidelines are a pain, but since this is a contest, we ask the voters to follow these guidelines.

• When you register, you will need to verify your voter ID and password by our email confirmation.
• Whenever you vote, you will need to verify it by email.
• You will be able to vote for your favorite band for a total of 4 weeks: 2 weeks after the band is podcasted and 2 weeks at the end of all podcasts when voting opens back up for ALL bands on November 2, 2008.
